Sri Sri Tattva Kutajarishta

Sri Sri Tattva’s Kutajarishta (500 ml) is a time-honored Ayurvedic arishta (fermented herbal tonic) using Kutaja (Holarrhena antidysenterica) as the principal herb, along with supporting botanicals and natural fermenting media. Through the classical process of decoction followed by fermentation, this tonic enhances the bioavailability of herbal actives and provides a gentle but effective remedy for intestinal disorders. It is traditionally indicated for conditions such as diarrhea, dysentery, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), bleeding in stools, digestive weakness, and accompanying fever.

Ingredients

The classical formulation includes Kutaja (Holarrhena antidysenterica) stem bark / root as the primary herb, along with complementary herbs such as Draksha (raisins / Vitis vinifera), Madhuka flowers (Madhuca indica), Gambhari (Gmelina arborea), and Dhataki (Woodfordia fruticosa) flowers. Sweetening and fermenting agents like jaggery (Guda) are added during preparation. The preparation undergoes a natural fermentation process (over days) to yield the arishta.
