HAYYAN is structured by Two Engineering Graduates as an Farmers based Organization in Coimbatore. We both are Childhood friends from Agricultural family where we produce oil for our household needs from our own farm ingredients. Later with the guidance of our Parents and Grandparents we thought that everyone should get benefit from our natural farm products, So we decided to supply our products and we made reach it out to everyone. Now we are closely working with 50+ farmers around Coimbatore from whom we directly procure our raw ingredients and also we use our own farm ingredients to produce oils. Direct From Farm Our deep respect for the land and its harvest is the legacy of generations of farmers who put food on our tables, preserved our landscape, and inspired us with a powerful work ethic. Coconuts grown in our own farm and other farms around our area are carefully handpicked and stocked. We remove the coconut husk and then the coconuts are broken into two pieces. COPRA Copra refers to the dried coconut kernels from which coconut oil is expelled. Exposing the kernels to the air and sun was the earliest method of drying and is still extensively followed; it gives a good quality white copra copra is made by sun drying these broken coconut pieces to remove the moist nature of coconuts without any chemical techniques like additive Sulphur on copra to increase its shelf life. Every week we process only limited quantity of oil, so the oil you get from us will never exceed one month from the day of production. Traditional Cold Pressed method Cold pressed method- oil seeds are crushed slowly to extract oil from them naturally. This is done to retain the nutrients and flavours. Chekku, Ghani and Kolhu oil are some colloquial words used in India to describe cold pressed oil. The oil is extracted from these sun dried pure copra using Traditional Cold Pressed (Chekku in Tamil) method Production of Oil in room temperature No External Heat applied for higher production. We don't use artificial refining method instead we use Natural Sedimentation Process where the crushed coconut oil is Sedimented in Direct Natural Sun light for Four days. Packing which is done completely by women in an Hygienic environment which is always maintained neat and clean to ensure the high quality standard of our oil.
